EasyCert is Windows software from Tysoft, sold as a one-off licence, with a mobile app that works alongside it. Certio is a monthly subscription that runs in a web browser and on Android. Different set-ups suit different firms, so here they are side by side, with a source for every EasyCert fact.

Certio runs in any web browser and has an Android app, so there's no desktop software to install. The iPhone app is in App Store review.
Photograph the consumer unit and Certio reads the ways, device types and ratings into the schedule of test results. What it can't read stays blank.
Photograph your tester's screen or pair a Megger MFT-X1 over Bluetooth, and the readings go into the schedule.
Certio's EICR, EIC and Minor Works certificates are laid out to the BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 model forms, as branded PDFs.
On Pro, priced quotes from a drawing, invoices with CIS and reverse charge VAT, card payment links, chasing, receipts and RAMS are in the same app.
Business, at £39 a month ex VAT, lets you add workers to your account with the money side hidden from them.
Certio isn't the right fit for everyone. EasyCert may be the one for you if any of these matter most.
EasyCert is sold as a one-off licence: £174.95 for EasyCert Pro1, including the first year of updates and support; after that, Customer Care is £49.95 a year23. Certio is a monthly subscription.
EasyCert includes BS 5839 fire alarm, BS 5266 emergency lighting and solar PV certificates7. Certio doesn't do those yet.
Send us what you can export and we load your existing certificates, customers, quotes and invoices into your account. Certificates you issued elsewhere arrive as documents on the right customer record, and we never alter them.
