AI EICR software

AI EICR software that never guesses a reading.

Photograph the consumer unit. Certio's AI reads the board — make, main switch, every way, device type and rating — into your schedule of test results. What it can't read stays blank for you to fill.

What the AI does on an EICR

The typing, done. The judgement, still yours.

Reads the board AI

Make, model, main switch and every way — device type, rating and RCD — drawn out so you can check it against the real thing.

🧾

Builds the schedule AI

The circuits go into the schedule of test results with their devices and ratings. You include or skip each way before anything is imported.

🔌

Reads your tester's screen AI

Photograph the tester's display and the reading goes in the right box, on the right circuit.

⚠️

Suggests the observation AI

Photograph a defect: it drafts the wording, suggests a code with its reasoning and the regulation reference, and ticks the inspection items it breaches. You decide.

📥

Imports an old certificate AI

Photograph or upload a previous EICR and it becomes an editable draft, with the original filed on the customer.

🏷️

Tells you what it assumed AI

Anything inferred rather than read, like a circuit description, is flagged for you to confirm.

What it will never do. Invent a test reading, sign the certificate, or send anything you haven't checked. You're the competent person, exactly as on paper.
When the photo isn't good enough. Missing labels or a device it can't make out stay blank. Retake the photo or fill the gaps yourself — nothing is imported until you confirm.

Questions about the AI

Does the AI make up readings?
No. It only transcribes values it can actually read, from your photo of the board, your tester's screen or your dictation. Where it infers something that isn't printed in front of it, such as a circuit description or a cable size, the field is flagged as an assumption for you to confirm. Blank stays blank until you fill it.
Does it decide the C1, C2, C3 or FI code?
It suggests one and shows its reasoning, with the regulation reference and the inspection schedule items the defect breaches. You decide the code. You are the competent person signing the report, exactly as on paper.
Which certificates does the board scan work on?
The board scan fills the schedule on EICRs and EICs. Tester-screen reads work wherever there is a results box. Minor Works and PAT certificates are in Certio too.
What if the photo isn't good enough?
If labels are missing or it can't make a device out, it leaves those fields blank. Retake the photo or fill the gaps yourself; nothing is imported until you confirm the circuits.
Does it work with no signal?
Certificates, jobs and photos live on your phone, so no signal doesn't stop you working. The AI features need the internet, so a board photo or tester-screen read queues up and runs as soon as you reconnect.
How much does it cost?
Starter is £5 a month plus VAT with a small monthly AI allowance, and it's free for the first 7 days. Pro is £10 a month plus VAT with unlimited certificates, billed from day one. No contract.
