Cancel during the trial and the account drops to view-only: the features grey out, but you can still open your certificates, export the PDFs, download your data and delete the account. Subscribe again and everything switches back on exactly as you left it.
Billing is handled securely by Stripe. Card details never sit with Certio.

Does Pro have a free trial?
Yes. Pro starts with 7 days free, then it is £9.99 a month, with no contract and no notice period. Starter is the same: 7 days free, then £4.99 a month. If you'd rather not add a card at all, the Free plan needs no card and has no time limit.
What happens when the Starter trial ends?
If you carry on, Starter starts billing at £4.99 a month from day 8. If you cancel before then, nothing is taken and the app drops to view-only: the features grey out, but you can still open your certificates, export the PDFs, download your data and delete the account. Subscribe again and everything switches back on.
Is a card needed to start the free trial?
The Free plan needs no card at all. Starter and Pro start with 7 days free: you add a card when you choose one of them, nothing is taken for 7 days, and if you cancel before day 8 you pay nothing. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never sit with us.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Monthly, no contract, no notice period, no exit fee. Cancel in a couple of taps from Billing in the app or the web portal and you keep the plan until the end of the month you have paid for.
Is the price per certificate?
No. Prices are per business, per month. The Free plan is £0 with no card. Pro includes unlimited certificates. Starter has a small monthly AI allowance for board scans and tester-screen reads.
Is PAT included on the Starter plan?
Yes. EICR, EIC, Minor Works and PAT are on every plan — Free, Starter and Pro.
What happens to my certificates if I stop paying?
The PDFs you've issued are already yours — nothing we do can take them back. Your account goes read-only: you can still open, export and download everything, and it stays that way for a wind-down period before the account is deleted. Ask us and we'll delete it sooner. We don't hold your documents hostage.
Will you help me move off my current software?
Yes, on every plan and at no charge. Start with any plan, then email support@certio.uk with what you are on and your exports. We load your certificates, customers, quotes and invoices into your account for you. See how switching works at certio.uk/switch.
Is there an iPhone version?
Yes. Certio Certs is on the App Store for iPhone, free to download — sign in with the same account you use on Android or in the browser. The web portal also works on any phone or laptop.
