Pricing questions
Does Pro have a free trial?
No. Pro and Business are billed from the day you subscribe — £10 or £39 a month plus VAT — with no contract and no notice period. If you want to try Certio free first, start on Starter: it is free for 7 days and then £5 a month.
What happens when the Starter trial ends?
If you carry on, Starter starts billing at £5 a month plus VAT from day 8. If you don't, nothing is taken and the app drops to view-only: the features grey out, but you can still open your certificates, export the PDFs, download your data and delete the account. Subscribe again and everything switches back on.
Is a card needed to start the Starter trial?
Yes. You pay £0 today; a card is held so the trial can roll into Starter if you keep using it. Nothing is taken until day 8, and cancelling before then costs nothing. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never sit with us.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Monthly, no contract, no notice period, no exit fee. Cancel in a couple of taps from Billing in the app or the web portal and you keep the plan until the end of the month you have paid for.
Is the price per certificate?
No. Prices are per business, per month. Pro includes unlimited certificates. Starter has a small monthly AI allowance for board scans and tester-screen reads.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
They are shown ex VAT, as is normal for trade software: Starter is £6 a month inc VAT, Pro £12, Business £46.80. If you are VAT registered you reclaim it as usual.
Will you help me move off my current software?
Yes, on every plan and at no charge. Start with any plan, then email support@certio.uk with what you are on and your exports. We load your certificates, customers, quotes and invoices into your account for you. See how switching works at certio.uk/switch.
Is there an iPhone version?
iPhone users get the full web portal in Safari today — sign in at certio.uk and add it to your home screen. The App Store build is with Apple and will be a free upgrade for anyone already on a plan.
